Small Holder Irrigation Support Program in Bulawayo and Beitbridge, Zimbabwe on 20-25 April 2015

Tuli Lushongwe Irrigation Scheme’s drip irrigation scheme is set to be replaced with a less expensive system.

The European Union (EU) availed 6 million Euro support to assist improve income, food and nutrition security of small holder communal farmers involved in small scale irrigation in Zimbabwe.

This will be achieved through physical rehabilitation of irrigation schemes and enhancement of production and marketing capacities.
