New Haven Railroad Pullman Sleeper 8 Sec – 5DBR Clover Colony in Pennsylvania Railroad paint scheme is seen in a yard area, ca, 1950. This was an older Pullman 12-1 sleeping car which was rebuilt into a new plan betterment configuration. the New Haven Railroad operated various Pullman car that wore a PRR paint scheme for Washington, D.C. – Boston Service and for some off line trains in through service. In the foreground sitting on a cabinet are a couple of plain bearing brass liner inserts. Also seen in the back ground are various Pullman standard stainless steel lightweight cars.
