Baseline: Small Holder Irrigation Support Program in Matebelelend South, Zimbabwe on 20-25 April 2015

Mwewe River which feeds into water reservoir at Valley Irrigation Scheme.

The European Union (EU) availed 6 million Euro support to assist improve income, food and nutrition security of small holder communal farmers involved in small scale irrigation in Zimbabwe.

This will be achieved through physical rehabilitation of irrigation schemes and enhancement of production and marketing capacities.
